San Diego County voter data

San Diego County voter data for local and countywide races.

San Diego County campaigns often need a fast way to move from a qualified voter file to a practical outreach list. VoterFile helps teams define the geography, compare the segment, and export the final universe for field, mail, or follow-up.

California voter-data upload, import, and activation are hard-stopped until the customer, source, viewers, agency acceptance, notice/security handoff, and security evidence are approved. Do not upload or email a voter file with this request.

The platform activation bundle is available, but each campaign still requires customer, source, viewer, permitted-use, and workspace approval before voter data can be uploaded or opened.

Targeting for real outreach programs

Countywide, city, and district races in San Diego often need multiple lists: persuasion targets, reliable turnout voters, vote-by-mail follow-up, and local walk universes. VoterFile helps campaigns compare those segments before spending money or volunteer time.

That matters most when the campaign needs to move quickly but still understand why a voter is in the universe.

California voter-data upload and processing are not activated yet. Before any file enters VoterFile, the issuing agency must accept the disclosed hosted workflow and viewer coverage, the required notice and security handoff must be complete, and the California security evidence checklist must be green. After that gate, California workspaces default to the campaign's authorized official fields, customer-directed lists and turf, and campaign-entered activity. Voter-level BISG, turnout-propensity, and other modeled fields require a separate documented privacy-law activation basis.

  • Build walk and turnout universes from voter-file filters
  • Inspect official vote history and any legally enabled modeled signal before export
  • Use campaign-readable counts for list review
  • Keep exports portable for downstream campaign tools

Practical for lean campaign teams

Many San Diego campaigns are not staffed like a statewide operation. VoterFile is designed so a candidate, field lead, or consultant can work through voter-data questions in the browser without a long implementation cycle.

The product keeps the voter-data layer focused and explainable so teams can act faster with less cleanup.

San Diego County planning notes

San Diego County campaigns can move between coastal communities, inland cities, military-adjacent neighborhoods, university areas, and large district geographies. Those differences make list review more important than a simple countywide export.

A practical San Diego County workflow starts with the race geography, then splits the universe into persuasion, turnout, vote-by-mail follow-up, and walkable field lists.

  • Separate municipal, countywide, and district universes before export
  • Review turnout and geography before assigning canvass packets
  • Use voter CRM fields to preserve follow-up from field or phone contact
  • Keep exports portable for mixed field, mail, and digital programs

Questions

Can VoterFile help with San Diego County municipal races?

Yes. The workflow is intended for California local campaign geography, including municipal and district-level races, subject to the campaign's loaded data.

Is this only for large countywide campaigns?

No. Private beta pricing and onboarding are designed to work for smaller local races as well as larger campaigns and consultants.
