- Request the public checklist from each town or city clerk in your race — RSA 654:31, II requires the clerk to furnish it to any person, including an email-delivered sortable spreadsheet, and RSA 654:31-a makes it public information under the Right-to-Know law.
- The checklist carries name, domicile and mailing address, and party affiliation. It does not include vote history, date of birth, phone, or email.
- A candidate for county, state, or federal office can additionally self-purchase their district's list (with a limited two-year vote history) from the Secretary of State under RSA 654:31, IV to supplement — municipal candidates are not eligible for that tier, which is why the town checklist is the working file for local races.
