After confirming eligibility, geography, and the source's current terms, VoterFile obtains the current official file directly from the source at onboarding and loads your county or district into your private workspace. You receive a written software-and-service quote before purchase, with any official-source acquisition cost disclosed and capped before approval.

- Request the statewide extract from the Florida Division of Elections at least 24 hours before the scheduled monthly availability date, or request a county list from your Supervisor of Elections.
- The state asks for contact information, a phone or email, and a mailing address because the scheduled extract is mailed on disk or picked up, not delivered by email or online.
- Confirm any fee if you request a late public-record extract or a custom county extract.

How onboarding works
First you sign a short services agreement that keeps VoterFile as your data processor, with no sale, no pooling, and deletion on request. Then we obtain the approved official Florida file and organize it in your workspace for lists, turf, and exports — no upload needed.
Nothing moves until the agreement is signed, and your file lives in a workspace no other customer can reach. When your race is over, or any time you ask, your file and the lists are deleted.

Can I use it for my Florida local race?
Florida's statewide voter extract is a public record available to any person, with no purpose oath, eligibility gate, or commercial-use restriction under current law — the older use restriction was repealed in the 2005 HAVA rewrite. Only confidential fields (Social Security number, driver's license number, Florida ID number, and signatures) are withheld.
