How it works
You tell us the towns, ZIP codes, or neighborhoods you want to reach. We find the mail carrier routes that cover them, count the homes on each route, and send you a fixed price. Every-door mail goes to every address on a route, so you do not need names, addresses, or a voter file.
We design the card, or we use the art your campaign already has. After you approve the design and pay, we have the cards printed, bundled by route, and shipped to your campaign. Shipping is included in the price. Someone from your campaign drops the bundles at the post office that serves those routes, and the carriers deliver them with the regular mail.
- No voter list or addresses needed
- Free route count before any charge
- Design included, or bring your own art
- Printed and bundled by route for the post office

What goes on the card
The card is 6.25 by 9 inches, which leaves room for a photo, a short message, and the date of the election. We lay out your message, your photo, and the disclaimer your state requires on campaign mail. Some states ask for more than a "Paid for by" line, such as the committee's street address. Send us the exact wording your committee uses, and we put it on the card.
The Postal Service also requires a postage mark and the words Local Postal Customer where an address would go. We add both, so the card is ready for the post office when it arrives.
- A 6.25 by 9 inch card
- Your message, photo, and election date
- The disclaimer your state requires on campaign mail
- Postage mark and Local Postal Customer line added for you
Who every-door mail reaches
Every-door mail reaches every address on the routes you pick. That includes people who are not registered to vote, and a route near the edge of your district can include some homes outside it. That is the trade for a lower price per card and no list to buy. You can choose homes only and leave businesses out.
If you want to reach only certain voters, such as people who voted in the last few elections, that is a mailing addressed to each voter from your voter file. It is a different service, and we can quote it.
Pricing
The price is $99 for design and route setup, plus 79 cents per card for printing and postage on a run under 2,500 cards, or 55 cents per card for 2,500 cards or more. A small print run costs more per card, which is why the rate drops at 2,500. Shipping the bundles to your campaign is included. The minimum is 200 cards. The free route count tells you how many homes are on the routes you picked, and the price is fixed before you pay.
If the whole district costs more than you planned, pick fewer routes and start with the neighborhoods that matter most to your race. The route count reruns on the smaller area and gives you the new price. A run of 2,500 cards comes to $1,474, and any run of 1,741 to 2,499 cards costs more than that. So if your routes reach 1,741 to 2,499 homes, adding a route to get to 2,500 lowers your price.
How long it takes
Allow about 7 to 10 days from the day you approve the design to the day the cards reach mailboxes. Printing takes a few days, and carriers usually deliver within a few days after you drop off the bundles. Mail timing is never exact, so plan for the slower end.
For a November 3 election, approve the design and pay by October 16, and drop the bundles at the post office by October 23. That leaves time for printing, shipping, and delivery before Election Day.

Questions
How much do political postcards cost?
$99 for design and route setup, plus 79 cents per card for printing and postage on a run under 2,500 cards, or 55 cents per card for 2,500 cards or more. The minimum is 200 cards. Shipping the bundles to your campaign is included. A mailing to 1,000 homes comes to about $889, and a mailing to 3,000 homes comes to about $1,749. A run of 2,500 cards comes to $1,474, and any run of 1,741 to 2,499 cards costs more than that, so in that range adding a route to reach 2,500 lowers the price. The free route count gives you the exact price before you pay.

Do I need a voter list?
No. Every-door mail goes to every address on the mail routes you pick, so no names or addresses are needed. If you want to reach specific voters instead, a mailing addressed to those voters is a different service, and we can quote it.
Can I target specific streets?
Not one street at a time. Every-door mail goes to whole mail carrier routes. You pick the routes that cover the neighborhoods you want, and you can leave businesses out. To reach specific streets or specific voters, a mailing addressed to each voter is the better fit, and we can quote it.
Who drops off the postcards?
Your campaign does. We ship the cards printed and bundled by route, and someone from your campaign takes them to the post office that serves those routes. Postage and shipping are included in your price. For a November 3 election, drop them off by October 23.
What does the card have to say?
Your card needs the disclaimer your state requires for campaign mail. That is usually a "Paid for by" line with your committee's name as it is registered, and some states also ask for the committee's street address. Send us your exact wording, and we put it on the card. The Postal Service also requires a postage mark and the words Local Postal Customer, and we add both. The rest is your message, your photo, and the election date.
Does this work outside California?
Yes. Every-door mail works anywhere the Postal Service delivers, and it does not use a voter file, so it works for a campaign in any state. The price is the same everywhere.
