Start California voter-file access review.
Your campaign remains requester of record, but do not upload a California voter file yet. VoterFile first confirms issuing-agency and viewer coverage, the required notice/security handoff, and the California security evidence checklist. After activation, the workspace starts with authorized official fields and no voter-level modeled output.
Who should request California onboarding
Campaigns and qualified political users that can obtain the official file under their own entitlement and permitted purpose.
- California campaigns with an eligible requester
- Teams that already have or are requesting the authorized file
- Consultants acting only for the obtaining campaign
- Users prepared to document source and permitted use
What happens after you submit
We review campaign eligibility, approved purpose, source, requester, processor, and every row-level viewer.
We complete and preserve issuing-agency acceptance, the required notice/security handoff, and the California security evidence pack.
Only after every gate is green do we activate the private official-fields workspace and authorize file upload.
